Jack Daniel's Studio Number 7 Music Tour is an exclusive concert series that tours 14 states over the course of a year. We were asked to create branded content to use across owned channels to heighten overall awareness of the tour.
THE IDEA
GET INSIDE THE MUSIC
This year we wanted to dig deeper into the music. We filmed a series of mini documentary style interviews with some iconic bands before they went on stage to perform.
By talking to guys like Matt Shultz from Cage the Elephant and Jim Heath of psychobilly rockers Reverend Horton Heat -- we revealed some interesting layers into the trials and tribulations of being a band on the road and what keeps them inspired. The videos were posted on the JD Facebook page which already boasted 180,000 members.
Overall the program has had great success based on sell out audiences in every market across the US and the number of earned media views online.
