Take a glance at the captivating image above, where a father and daughter duo are utterly enchanted, their eyes wide with wonder. This moment was snapped during Zachary Lieberman's mesmerizing "Drawn Installation" at our former gallery in Kensington Market. It embodies the essence of what we stand for – an experience we affectionately call "Opened Mouth Magic." It's that fleeting instant when someone, regardless of age, is transported to a realm of enchantment, caught off guard by the sheer unexpectedness of it all.
As a creative, witnessing these moments is incredibly fulfilling. It's precisely why Pixel was born over a decade ago. I needed an outlet to experiment, push boundaries, and defy conventional narratives. My passion for storytelling, in all its forms, has been a lifelong companion. I craved a space to inspire unconventional thinking and creative risk-taking.
Thus, Pixel Gallery emerged at the intersection of art, immersive storytelling, and innovation. Our guiding principle? "Everyone. Touch." Our mission? To shatter the traditional art gallery mold and revolutionize how people experience art, design, and technology.
Our productions have consistently drawn a diverse, curious crowd – from families to individuals from all walks of life. We've had parents who stumbled upon us while shopping in the Market, only to find themselves entranced. The same goes for older adults, who'd pop in out of curiosity and leave with a renewed sense of wonder. Even those seeking solace during challenging times would find "extreme joy" in our interactive exhibits.
Though we've bid farewell to our physical space, Pixel continues to craft innovative experiences for both the art and commercial worlds. Our purpose remains unwavering – to challenge conventions and bring people together through the universal languages of art, design, and interactive storytelling.
