THE BRIEF

We were asked to create an entertaining and engaging experience at Google’s Think Performance event directed at C-suite marketing executives. The objective was to make them think about Google's performance products for their business.

THE IDEA
SEARCH OBSESSED DOPPELGANGERS


These savvy marketing execs are search obsessed and so is Google. So we thought it was fitting to create Android doppelganger characters based on the social profiles of the 38 executives invited to the event. Once we were armed with all the juicy "data" and designed the unique Android characters, we took over the Corus building and branded and a personalized multi-level experience for each executive.

On each floor, executives could scan their NFC name tag on an Android picture frame to trigger a Google message by their Android Doppelgänger delivered on giant phone screens throughout the event space ending in a massive theatre screen performance powered by immersive Kinect technology.

At the end of the night executives received a custom made bobble head of their Android Doppelgänger along with a URL that recapped personalized product recommendations to suit their business needs.
We created 38 custom Androids based on unique social profiles spanning FB, TW and LinkedIn.

We turned nine 80 inch vertical screens into Android phone replicas. Once an executive scanned their name tag they were "Androidified"  and their doppleganger would give them a personal message based on the research we did.

We created Android  animations that  acted as screen savers when the executives were not interacting with the screens. 




Executives scanned their name tags on an Android picture frame that would trigger personalized content on the screen in front of them.
NFC enabled name tags triggered content on screens all over the venue.

Doppleganger Androids delivered personalized content on large screens disguised as Android phones.

We created Android animations along with facts relevant to our executives based on our research.  Animations played out on a 126 ft  screen while the executives walked into the venue.

Our friends at Bobble Droid helped us create personalized Doppleganger Droids of each executive.
